techtatvas website is in adobe flash player 9 version which is not compatable in a no. of systems
so kindly put that in html mode also..

ALL relevant information is put up on the official website : http://techtatva08.com/ You can check it out there. The events begin on 8th October to 11th October. But several pre-techtatva workshops will be happening before that. Check out the site for more details

The techtatva 08 website has benn tested on Firefox 2.0 and above and IE 7.0 , and Safari, on windows and Linux Operating Systems, so there should be no problems accessing the website from any standard browser/OS.
There have been some issues lately with the Google Chrome Browser, and we’re have brought it to the notice of Google.
We ARE working on a lighter version of techtatva ‘08, and it will be out very soon.

The new site is up.. I think its better than the last one.. details will be added as days pass and as we get further queries.. so fire away ur comments and suggestions and we shall work them into our site… cheers..

I am an organizer under Param category. i got a phone call from someone in NITK today informing me that the TT’08 website doesn’t respond in any of the systems in their colleges, not even the cyber cafes outside the campus. so i sent him the details in text format, for all the categories. plz put up a plain HTML version of the website as soon as possible.

The basic HTML version is now up. You can visit it at http://www.techtatva08.com/lite
Its still a work in progress, but it should do for those people on a really really slow connection.
@ramsiva That is very weird indeed. According to my knowledge, no such compatibility problems exist on any system or platform. Are you sure its not a bandwidth related issue? If you have any problems in installing Flash Player 9, please send me a mail at admin@techtatva08.com

I am an alumni of MIT, Manipal 2006 (EnE) and was the category head of the gizmo line of events. M proud the way things are going. Keep up the good work guys. We command a great respect in the industry and events and endeavours like these will definitely take us to the place where we belong to.The TOP.

well m a prospective studnt who wud b joining MIT nxt yr..i had a cousin over there but nw he’s an x-miti’an.
plzz guys,m hearing a lot abt VIT-vellore..please tell me is it better thn MIT..as i have never been 2 VIT’s campus…n cant imagine sumthin better thn MIT..but as alumni advice is alwyzz better..all u guyz over there plzz rate VIT n MIT in terms of studies,plcmnt,exposure…etc

@Devil-> Nothing to do with numerology, though 7 IS my lucky number ;D Just that the previous year’s blog was so hugely popular and so much loved by Google, we decided we better stick to it than going for a new blog which would take some time before Google would rank it. It still ranks #1 on Google when you search for techtatva, so sticking to it would also avoid any confusions.
Besides, what’s in a name? [;)]
