Ubuntu Workshop :)

For people who have loved Ubuntu, here is a reason to smile. We are finally having a workshop on FOSS and Ubuntu at MIT. The workshop will be held on 6th October’07 and hope it”ll be fun. As for the people who have been eagerly waiting for the Adobe Flex Workshop photographs, I”ll get them put here asap. After the workshop, I had to go 10kms away from Manipal in *pursuit of happiness* as most such havens (read heavens ) were closed in Manipal due to electioneering. And dozed off after coming back. You could check the pics out in a day or two.

Upcoming Workshops

In the pipeline are the following worshops:

IURS Robotics Workshop : The Robotics Workshop is being held from Septem 21-24th and registrations are open. this workshop has been conducted in the past and has bred engineers who have won accolodaes in national level robotics vents at IIT delhi and IIT Guwahati.

Adobe Flex Workshop : This one is my baby . The Adobe Flex Workshop is being conducted by Mr. Raghunath Rao, member of the Adobe India Flex Team. Developing Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) is not only his job, but his passion. The gut is absolutely smashing. You could read more of him here. He will be conducting a two day workshop at MIT on September 29-30. Anyone who loves beautiful applications over the web must attend this- a rather personal recommendation.

E2 Labs Hacking Workshop : The Ethical hacking workshop is one of its kind being held at MIT on the occasion of Techtatva’07. Eminent faculty from acroos the globe will hold a five day workshop from October 4-8. Whats more, six people from among the trainees will be given internship opportunities and at least one eligible candidate will get a job offer to work in London/Dubai.
